Anumana Pakshi tries to fly high on comedy and thrill, but unfortunately, it ends up grounded by heavy turbulence of boredom and endless irritation.

The first half introduces Sunny and his chronic habit of doubting everything, leading to a Kashmir trip. While the setup attempts to establish a quirky tone, the pacing drags badly. The so-called jokes fail to land, and the pre-interval buildup and interval block offer very little excitement, leaving the audience largely disinterested.

The second half takes an even more bizarre turn with the entry of Ajay as a reel-obsessed police officer and Rashi as a ghost-whisperer. The narrative descends into a confusing farce with weak twists and exhausting sequences that completely fail to maintain any momentum or keep the viewer engaged.

Rag Mayur tries his best in the lead role, but the poorly written character makes his antics more irritating than entertaining. Merin Philip, Prince Cecil, and Ajay are stuck with silly, underwritten roles that give them no scope to perform. The direction by Vimal Krishna comes across as amateurish, a surprising drop from his earlier work, and the weak dialogues and lackluster screenplay pull the film down completely.

On the technical side, Sunil Kumar Nama's cinematography is basic and fails to capture any visual richness even in the Kashmir backdrop. Sricharan Pakala's music is totally forgettable, and the editing by Chota K Prasad is sluggish, making the sub-two-hour runtime feel much longer than it actually is.

Overall, Anumana Pakshi is a painful comedy that delivers way more irritation than laughter. While the core idea of an over-suspicious protagonist had potential, poor writing and dull execution ruin the experience. To use a line from the film itself, asking the audience to sit through this is quite the 'cringe'-worthy punishment.

Prince Cecil: Played a familiar role that reminded viewers of his previous work, but lacked meat.
