The initial hour relies heavily on a standard, somewhat banal neighborhood romantic template that lacks fresh writing. However, the pre-interval sequence introduces a sharp, original twist that completely changes the direction of the film.

The entire second half runs on a highly intense, emotionally raw note with realistic sequences that steer clear of pretentious commercial additives. While the emotional arc reaches a strong crescendo during the climax, the pacing occasionally slackens as the director lingers on intense moments longer than necessary, taking minor cinematic liberties with a convenient transformation arc for the protagonist.

Musically, Eshwar Chand's songs act as the backbone of the narrative, providing an earthy and inventive layer to the emotional proceedings, though the background score remains relatively basic.
