Monsoon Mangoes is a heartfelt and nostalgic film that captures the essence of chasing dreams with a blend of humor and emotional depth. The screenplay is well-crafted, balancing light moments with poignant reflections on failure and hope. The pacing is steady, with the first half setting up the characters and their motivations effectively, while the second half delves deeper into the protagonist's emotional journey, offering satisfying closure.

The film's music by Jakes Bejoy complements the narrative beautifully, with songs that evoke the mood of the story and a background score that subtly enhances the emotional beats without overpowering the scenes. Cinematography by Lukasz Pruchnik adds a vibrant visual texture, capturing both the lush Kerala landscapes and the intimate moments of the characters.
