Set in the kingdom of Mahishmati, the film follows Sivudu, a young man raised in a tribal village who discovers his royal lineage as Mahendra Baahubali. Upon learning of his father Amarendra Baahubali's legendary valor and tragic betrayal by the loyal slave-commander Kattappa, Mahendra must rise to overthrow the tyrannical King Bhallaladeva. This 'Epic' version combines the two-part saga into a single, seamless narrative, detailing the rise, fall, and ultimate retribution of the Baahubali legacy.
Prabhas: Maintains his towering screen presence as both the fiery Mahendra and the noble Amarendra; his performance remains the soul of the franchise.
